One final dramatic landscape from my last day in New Zealand in 2018. In fact, this was the last place I visited before driving our hire car (Tilda) back to the airport.
Just outside of Queenstown at a stopping point on the edge of Lake Wakatipu, a jut in the land offered an interesting composition with the wedge of forest in the foreground and archetypal NZ mountains at the back.
It was a cloudy day with intermittent sunshine. In this heavy edit I brought out the murky, indigo hues of the sky.
