I caught this lucky shot wandering around the Lost Gardens of Heligan on a mid-covid break in Cornwall. I recall stepping into the greenhouse, snapping it with no thought, then stepping out again.
Stumbling upon this during editing, it turned into one of my favourite photos I’ve taken.
I carefully balanced the light and shadows and focussed on bringing out the autumnal colours in the light and the lush greens and pink flowers in the shadowy right of the frame.
