Villa Escudero is a working coconut plantation and holiday resort in the Philippines. It’s somewhat famous for an artificially made waterfall which you can sit under and eat a meal!
I was lucky enough to spend a couple of nights in one of their cabins (although, I literally slept on a mat on the floor of the cabin’s veranda owing to the fact Mum booked a single cabin with one less bed than we needed to fit all of us).
This shot up the Bulakin river looks unusually competent, by my standards, so I’ve always been quite fond of this picture.
These colourful fabric roses are also kinda fun. They are stitched together to form a table cloth. I don’t know what they’re called but Mum told me it’s common to make them as kids in the Philippines.
